2026 Seoul Marathon Timing Chip Guidelines


To ensure accurate race timing,

please check the following guidelines.


1๏ธโƒฃ Electronic Devices Behind Bib Number ๐Ÿ“ฑ

If an electronic device is placed directly behind your bib number, it may interfere with the signal and your time may not be recorded.


2๏ธโƒฃ Water & Energy Gels ๐Ÿ’ง

Water, sports drinks, or energy gels may also interfere with the timing signal.


3๏ธโƒฃ Smartwatch Position โŒš

If your smartwatch is aligned with the timing chip at the timing checkpoint, it may cause recording issues.


5๏ธโƒฃ Thermal Blanket โš ๏ธ

Thermal (foil) blankets can block signals and may prevent your time from being recorded.
