🎉 Seoul Marathon Ranks 4th Worldwide for the First Half of 2026!

We are proud to announce that the Seoul Marathon has officially placed 4th globally in the World Athletics (WA) competition rankings for the first half of this year, scoring an incredible 10,016 points! 🏆

Most notably, in the 'Result Score'—which is determined by the athletes' actual times—Seoul achieved 9,811 points, surpassing the Boston Marathon (9,800). This remarkable feat proves to the world that our course through the heart of Seoul is a premium, world-class route designed for peak performance.

With a historic new tournament record (2:04:22) and thrilling, fierce competition from top-tier elite athletes, this year’s race was truly one for the history books.

Building on this achievement that proved the global status of Korean sports, the Seoul Marathon is running toward a new future.
